Spray Paint

Spray paint art is an art form using spray paint, traditionally on posterboard, but can be done on any non-porous material, such as wood, metal, glass, ceramic or plastic. It differs from graffiti art in that graffiti is performed on buildings, trains and the like, as opposed to more traditional art surfaces.

3D Sidewalk/Mural Paintings

You've heard of it, maybe seen it, be it in real life or online. I like it very much, looks like alot of thought put into the actual making of it, everything has to be the right angle and length. Wonder if the rain washed it away.. Some use paint some use atualy chalk. (probably lots of chalk)

This site discusses 5 of the, according to them, most talented 3d chalk artists, I paticularly like the first one they mentioned, Edgar Mueller, and the last one, Kurt wenner.

Paper Marbling - Ebru / Suminagashi

Paper marbling is a method of aqueous surface design, which can produce patterns similar to marble or other stone. The patterns are the result of color floated on either plain water or a viscous solution known as size, and then carefully transferred to a sheet of paper (or other surfaces such as fabric).

Hand painting by Guido Daniele

Originally made by Guido Daniele, an italian man who studied at Brera School of Arts (major in sculpturing) where he graduated from in 1972. He mostly does body painting (Which includes hand painting, but more on body paint in a future blog post) for advertisements such as AT&T, Stern and WWF. But also tv commercials and tv programmes.

Pour Painting

Hello, first of all, happy new year. I hope to post more and get more visitors in 2012!
So, this blog post is about pour painting, which is incredibly awesome. The painting from the picture above is made by Holton Rower and assistants.
